Beets

We grow Chiogga beets which are an Italian heirloom beet. They are just as sweet as golden beets especially when harvested smaller like we prefer. Harvesting them younger also gives you a delicious green you can sauté. No need to peel them!

Recipes
some are our own and some are others that we love.

Prep Tips

  • When cut properly, beets can be sautéed with any other vegetable which is quick and easy. Just cut them in half, then in quarters. Watch the video below to see how it's done!

  • Don't compost those greens. Saute them with a litte oil, butter or ghee, salt and pepper.
