Mulberries

Full of fiber and rich in many vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamin C and iron, mulberries are full of medicinal plant compounds, such as anthocyanins, that contribute to their color and beneficial health effects. They are a bit sweet and tart.

Use

  • You can freeze them and use them in smoothies.

  • They make the most wonderful jam

  • They get very sweet if you dry them and use them in a granola mix.

  • Sprinkle some on your salad

  • Add them with other berries to pies or galettes.

  • Put them on yogurt or cereal

  • ​Freeze them and make a sorbet. Just toss some mulberries, lemon, and honey in the food processor,
